Studied history, German studies and sociology at the University of Vienna. Since March 1, 2011, she is Professor for Gender Studies at the Institute for Cultural Management and Gender Studies (IKM) of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Her research projects and publications cover the areas of gender and cultural studies with current focus on science, art and gender, history of science, exile / emigration research as well as qualitative and experimental methods.
