This year\u2019s Artist in Residence Thomas Gorbach, founder of the ACP (The Acousmatic Project) and the Wiener Akusmonium, will examine and explore the origins and development of acousmatics.<\/p>\n<p>This November the first Wiener Akusmonium Festival will take place in St. P\u00f6lten, featuring not only the Austrian pioneers of acousmatic music <em>Dieter Kaufmann<\/em> and <em>G\u00fcnther Rabl<\/em>, but also Alex Buck, Thomas Gorbach, Tiago Gati, Electric Indigo, V\u00e1nia Dantas Leite, Flo Menezes, Kirsten Reese, Elisabeth Schimana, Heidrun Schramm, Andrea Sodomka, Peter Szely and Mauricio Valdes.
