<\/a>Reconstruction of the optical synthesizer<\/strong> (Flying Spot Scanner) by Max Brand<\/p>\n In 2018\/19, Max Brand’s optical synthesizer from the late 1950s was reconstructed by Klaus Filip<\/a> and Karl Suesz under the direction of Peter Donhauser<\/a>.<\/p>\n The replica of this synthesizer is fully functional and was brought to life by Klaus Filip with his piece andante at the festival analog beauty.<\/p>\n
