Tiago Gati has participated in music festivals such as the Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik Darmstadt, L’Espace du son, Espacios Sonoros, Bimesp, Monaco Electroacoustique and Raum-Musik Köln. He has obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in musical composition at the São Paulo State University (Unesp), under the supervision of Flo Menezes. He also runs the Ateliê Contemporâneo at Escola Municipal de Música de São Paulo, an artistic and pedagogical program in contemporary music.
