In electronic music women are actively involved not only as composers and musicians but also as curators, concert organizers, and blog activists. Without their personal dedication these projects would be unimaginable. Each of these projects has its own aim, theme, and history; what they all have in common is that public attention is of key importance. The discourse on differing strategies, ideas, and experiences of women in the electronic music scene seeks to promote communication and networking between the different projects and diverse musical branches.
