ONA B. is an interdisciplinary working artist, using different media. Her main genres are painting, installation, land art, photography, film, sound, drawing and concept art.

1979 she founded the artist group phoenix production. From 1987 to 1994 she formed with Evelyne Egerer, Birgit Jürgenssen and Ingeborg Strobl and from 1993 on with Lawrence Weiner the artist group Die Damen. Since 2003 she is a member of the society of fine artists Austria (Wiener Künstlerhaus). ONA B. lives in Vienna, Bisamberg and Strasshof as a freelance artist and curator.
