composition commissions & concerts
On four weekends, composers and musicians will revive selected sound machines on display in the exhibition. We want to learn what the apparatuses have to tell us, what secrets they hold, and let their sonorous materiality enchant us. To hear their stories the IMA Institute of Media Archaeology will commission works, which will be composed in the studios
of the exhibition.
