I am a full-time PhD candidate at the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam (personal webpage), writing a dissertation about search engines and freedom of expression. I started in September 2006. Before that I used to work for the Dutch digital civil rights movement Bits of Freedom, which is part of European Digital Rights (EDRI). I have an academic background in Mathematics (M.Sc. , 2002) and Law (LL.M. , 2006).
