The three-night festival scheduled to take place around the summer solstice in June 2016 contrasts the black box interior space of the theater, which is filled with dark sounds, and the exterior space of the silver-glowing white nights of St. Petersburg. Back in 1848 Fyodor Dostoyevsky immortalized these midsummer nights in his story “White Nights”. This annually recurring spectacle is the point of departure for a program with concerts and sound installations in- and outside the theater space.

Dark sounds are associated with such concepts as the subconscious, death, trance, psychedelic, and immersive.
